With dye sub printing a defining feature of event photography, Fuji's instant print solutions continue to be popular with photographers looking for that necessarily fast turnaround. With the ASK4000 (8x10 inch and 8x12) and ASK2500 machines (6x4, 3.5x5, 6x8, 6x9 and 5x7) doing well for the brand with prices from £1,250+VAT, it has recently added the smaller ASK300 to the mix. Just like the ASK2500, the ASK300 can print 6x4 inch, 6x8 and 5x7, but is half the size. With the addition of a terminal, and in a shop environment, it allows for self-service. This Quick Print Station combo is priced at £1,478+VAT, while the standalone ASK300 is £789+VAT.

In terms of spec the ASK300 offers 300dpi and 400 prints per roll for 6x4 inches. This large, economical print capacity per roll reduces the frequency of exchanging paper and ink ribbon. Print time for a 6x4 is 12 seconds, compared to the pricier ASK2500's 6.9 seconds. The printer weighs 12kg and measures 10.8x17.6x6.7 inches. Connectivity is via USB 2.0 port.
