Networking is a key element for any event photographer or just about any other business.

Good contacts to make are with charity organisers, hoteliers, event organizers and other service providers who are in the event business, these may include: musicians, entertainment providers, discothèque provides, etc. any of who may be able to make an introduction.

Charities are good to work with especially if you have some time on your hands as becoming a volunteer can help both the photographer and the fund raiser. The photographer can show the charity the benefits of having a photographer present and both can financially benefit from the arrangement.
